Your Holiday Gift: New Features
We have been hard at work the last couple of weeks and have introduced several new features and placed them under the Christmas tree, ready for you to open. We would like to highlight the following tree gifts.
We take pride in producing great code. We have reviewed Component Creator's generated code line per line and all our components now pass the php sniffer and comply with all Joomla coding standards: documentation, indentation, deprecated functions...
Improved file upload field
From now on it will be a lot easier to upload files to your Joomla components. It is now possible to upload multiple files and choose the folder where the pictures will be saved.
After many user requests, we also decided to keep the original name of the file instead of hashing it using md5. Note that you won't get a notice if you overwrite files with the same name.
Duplicate items in Joomla backend
You can now duplicate any item created in your component administration side.
