New Feature: Calendar Filters in Front-End Views

We have just uploaded to Component Creator a new feature: Calendar filters are now shown in your front-end view in the same way as they are in your administration area.

 As there are many possible configurations on the front-end, for this feature, we have implemented just the server-side validation for the date format. We recommend that you also implement a client-side validation, but there are plenty of solutions (based on jQuery, for example) that you can implement.

Right now, the only format allowed is the default for Joomla: 'YYYY-MM-DD'. Please note that any date you insert that doesn’t follow that rule will be ignored in the filtering process. If you need to change the format, you can find the code to edit at com_yourcomponent/models/yourview.php
