Call to a member function publish() on boolean Call to a member function publis was created by Squad Digital

Hello
i have created a table in component creator and i am using some controller code to insert items into the table, however when i try to trash the items i get an error Call to a member function publish() on boolean from libraries\legacy\controller\admin.php on line 209.

Never mind solved this by "adding a form view in the back end" which i had unchecked before and rebuilding the component
