Intermediate tables?

Intermediate tables? was created by R
Hi,

Can CC create intermediate tables so that the cascading effect of changes does not come through?

Classic example.

You sell your product which is an Orange at £0.75 per unit this week.
Next Orange increases to £0.80 per unit.
I want my order to retain the £0.75.
So this would normally require an Intermediate table to preserve the data at that point in time?

Many thanks in advance

R

CC is not supporting this feature at the moment.

This also sounds like the wrong solution for me. At least for the example provided. Instead simply add a "price" field to your orders table and store the actual price with the order when it is created. No need for any extra tables.

That is fine if that is your setup.

My requirement is not a sales order setup.. but that is the best way to describe as you have many sales lines per sales order.. each sales line can have many products either per sales line or several per sales line etc...

Thanks for replying so I know I need to do my own dev here.

Thanks

Yeah, that does sound like it needs some custom development.
